Lager 25
Origins
In 1893, Swedesboro faced a devastating fire that forever changed the town's history. The bravery of William Dilks and the dedicated citizens who formed a bucket brigade to save Meley's Hall remains etched in our collective memory. It was a pivotal moment that led to the establishment of the Woolwich Fire Company in 1898.
As we honor the department's remarkable 125-year journey, we proudly present Lager 25, a meticulously crafted American Lager. Just like the fire department, this crisp and refreshing brew has become a beloved staple in our community. Join us in raising a glass to their legacy and celebrating their incredible service.
Food Pairings
Significantly crisp and refreshing, Lager 25 goes very well with popular sport and street foods such as burgers, hotdogs, tacos, and an array of fried foods. Think tailgates and BBQs. As for dessert, pairing with a salty treat, like salted pretzels dipped in melted cheese, compliments this lager.
Suggested Foods: Grilled Meat (Hamburger or Taco)
Cheese: Smear-Ripened Cheeses (Gruyère or Munster)
Dessert: Candied Bacon, Salted Pretzels, or Kettle Corn
